Caroline Havard, an active, young girl who lost her ability to move for several years, has chosen to use her affliction for the betterment of others.  What her father says about her struck a chord within me: "I'm happy that she takes adversity as an opportunity to do something with it, instead of having it do something to her."

Go, Caroline!  What a spirit of strength and dignity.
